Description of the HSM 108.2 Cross Cut Shredder

The 108.2 cross cut shredder is an entry-level shredder designed for offices and businesses just starting to shred. The 9.5” throat is perfectly sized for copy paper and can shred 12 to 14 sheets at a time. For the easiest shredding process, the 108.2 is well equipped with high quality features. Photoelectric cells in the feed opening detect paper to start shredding and immediately stop shredding when the feeder is empty. Frequent use can overheat other shredders, but the 108.2 has continuous duty operation, which enables the 108.2 to keep shredding without a cool down period. The 108.2 will engage zero energy standby mode when not in use to limit energy wasted. And when the next shred stack is inserted, the 108.3 cross cut will automatically start shredding again.

With Level 3/P-4 security, particles are ⅛”x1⅛” for office security. Protect office information by properly destroying documents and such. The solid steel cutting rollers can cut through paper stacks, staples, paper clips, and even credit cards and are wear-resistant for a long-lasting performance. In event of a paper jam, the on/off toggle switch also has a reverse function that reverses the rollers until the paper is released. And to reduce office noise the 108.2 shredder, like all HSM Classic shredders, uses Whisper Shred technology. The 108.3 shredder is available in a strip cut version.
