Description of the HSM 225.2 Cross Cut Shredder

The HSM 225.2 cross cut shredder shred up to 27 sheets per pass into 387 particles per page (⅛” x 1⅕”). One of the mid-sized models in the HSM Classic series, the 225.2 can be used as a centralized shredder in a busy office. Though not the largest shredder in the series, the 225.2 boasts a wider throat and bigger motor to handle larger paper sizes at a higher capacity. Like the other HSM Classic shredders, the 225.2 has many high quality parts and features. Cutting rollers are made of wear-resistant steel, guaranteed to last.

This large cross cut shredder easily destroys CDs/DVDs, paper clips, credit cards, staples, and floppy disks as it would shred paper so your office information is fully protected. Keep feeding the 225.2 and it will keep shredding with its continuous duty motor. Throughout the shred process, the 225.2 can detect overloads and a full waste bin, automatically stopping in both instances. A reverse function on the on/off switch will roll out the material in reverse. The 225.2 will only start shredding again with an empty wastebin that is properly closed. Noise is limited by the Whisper Technology no matter what you are shredding, not just paper. The 225.2 will only shred while items are passing through the cutting rollers, automatically stopping once completed. When idle, Zero Energy Standby Mode eliminates wasting power and is ready to start shredding again at any time. The 225.2 is available with different cross cut security levels, including high security, and strip cut versions.
