Description of the HSM Securio B24 ⅛” Strip Cut Shredder
This Level 2/P-2 strip cut shredder is a user-friendly strip cut shredder for busy small offices. The B24 strip cut shredder makes ⅛” strip from up to 24 sheets of paper at once. Shred paper, credit cards, staples, paper clips, and CDs/DVDs, the hardened steel cutting rollers can handle it. Strip cut shredders are fast because they cut in one direction, but do not offer the same security as cross cut shredders. Strip cut shredders are ideal for documents that are not sensitive but still need safe disposal.
The B24 SC has continuous duty operation and quiet operation for continual shredding that doesn’t disrupt the office. When not in use in between shreds, the EcoSmart standby mode keeps power consumption at 0.1 watts to save energy as well as your energy bill. And like all Securio shredders, the B24 has AntiJam technology prevents overloaded paper jams automatically by switching into reverse mode. A large inspection window on the 9 gallon waste bin makes it easy to monitor shred waste levels for timely disposal. When the B24 is not in use, energy consumption decreases up to 90% in standby mode.
The Securio B24 is available in a ¼” strip cut shredder, as well as cross cut versions.
