Description of the HSM Powerline FA500.3 Cross Cut Shredder

Part of HSM’s Powerline industrial shredder line, the FA 500.3 shredder is incredibly powerful and designed to take on large volumes. Tough and efficient, the FA 500.3 takes on very large loads of paper, paper clips, staples, credit cards, CDs/DVDs/, USB sticks, and floppy disks. High volume shredding isn’t as labor intensive as you might think. Simply place shred materials onto the extra wide conveyor belt and it will take it into the shredding shaft. There, the hardened solid steel cutting rollers turn large paper stacks into shred particles. Continuous duty operation keeps the industrial shredder continuously shredding for especially big shred loads.

Even as a large industrial shredder, the 500.3 has a front facing door. The front facing door makes it easier to place the 500.3 is less spacious areas but still have easy access to the waste bin. The FA500.3 even has a shred bin with wheels for easier disposal of particles. The waste bin has a 140 lb capacity and will surely be heavy when full, so the sturdy castors eliminate the struggle of lifting and dragging. HSM delivers high quality features such as the JamStop Anti Jam Technology. Paper jams are detected and automatically reversed for smooth operation. Users are also notified via the LED light indicator in event of a paper jam. Maintenance is easy thanks to the auto oiler that keeps the cutting heads well oiled for smooth cutting and to prevent paper dust buildup that could damage the shredder. The FA500.3 has a low security level, but is also available in a Level 4 version.
