Description of the HSM Pure 740 Cross Cut Shredder

A Level 3/P-4 shredder from HSM means secure shredding for your office. The Pure 740 cross cut shredder is the second largest in the Pure series. Made for use between 6 to 11 users, the 740 is an ideal shredder large offices and workshops. It can take up to 27 sheets per pass at 17 feet per minute, shredding more sheets, faster than smaller Pure models. Despite its size and capacity, the 740 has quiet operation to keep noise levels low. And its mobility is convenient for multiple users in a large office setting. The 740 is built with high quality materials for a lasting performance. Cutting rollers are made with hardened steel and a powerful motor engages continuous operation. Features like low power consumption in standby mode, overload protection to reduce paper jams, and a safety element that automatically switches off if pressure is applied, work to prevent damage and maintain shredder life. Shredding is incredibly simple with automatic start/stop. Open the wooden cabinet door to remove the shred bag (uses a 58 capacity shred bag) and dispose of the collected shred particles.
