Description of the HSM Securio B22 ¼” Strip Cut Shredder
The Securio B22 is an effective small office shredder, designed to be a fast strip cut shredder. Shred up to 24 sheets per pass and documents are turned into ¼” strips. With steel cutting rollers, the B22 SC can also shred staples, paper clips, plastic cards and CDs/DVDs. Made in Germany, the B22 has proven technology and capabilities that have made HSM a trusted manufacturer through the years. Like most HSM shredders, the B22 is equipped with user friendly controls. The on/off switch has an integrated reverse function, and once turned on, the B22 engages automatic start/stop shredding. Quiet operation limits shred noise to reduce office distractions. Easily place this in an office environment such as small businesses. Despite its size, the HSM B22 has continuous duty operation. Continue to shred by simply continuously feeding the shredder. When idle, it consumes 0.1 watts of power to save on your energy bill. The 8.7 gallon waste bin collects shred waste for easy disposal. When the shred bin is full or open, the B22 automatically stops shredding until the bin is emptied/closed. Look through the large inspection to see particle accumulation and dispose of waste early on. Note that a strip cut shredder is not used for high security needs and the B22 strip cut shredder has a security Level 2/P-2.
