Description of the HSM Securio C18 ¼” Strip Cut Shredder
It may be a smaller shredder, but don’t let it fool you. The C18 strip cut shredder takes on up to 20 sheets per pass and has many of HSM’s high quality features. Shredding automatically starts/stops with the presence of paper, paper jams are detected and automatically reversed, and when idle, Zero Energy Standby Mode does not use any energy until reactivated. All ⅛” particles fall directly below into the 6.6 gallon waste bin. When full, shredding automatically stops and users can simply lift off the top of the shredder to dump the waste bin contents. A simple rocker switch turns the shredder on and off, and once the C18 is on, all you have to do is insert paper. The solid cutting head can power through paper clips, staples, and even credit cards. Whisper Shred technology means quiet shredding and Zero-Energy Standby Mode reduces power consumption when idle to reduce energy waste. This low volume shredder is a perfect lightweight machine for any home or personal office. Its size enables you to place it deskside for convenient shredding.
