Description of the HSM SP 4040 V ¼” 3x400V Shredder Baler

For industrial shredding, the HSM SP 4040 ¼” shredder baler has incredible power and capacity. With the capabilities of two machines in one, the SP 4040 will shred materials and create bales. Place shred material onto the large table and the conveyor belt pull items through the 17” feed opening and into the solid steel cutting head. Documents, paper books, 3-ring binders, and cardboard are cut into ¼” wide strips that meets requirements for Level 2 shredding at 8.27 inches per second. The SP 4040 can easily shred up to 130 sheets of paper at once. It can also destroy credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and other similar items. The sturdy gear motor with chain drive is able to handle large quantities of shred material and withstand constant shredding. Once shredded, particles fall into the baling compartment where high pressing power (44kN) compresses shred waste into compact bales that can be evacuated into bags or boxes. When the baling process is complete, the ejected bale can then be removed with the handy trolley that easily slides out. It even has automatic return on paper jams for smooth operation. The SP 4040 might be a shredder giant, but the sturdy castors mean easy mobility. The SP 4040 is also available in a cross cut version.
