Description of the HSM Securio P36 OMDD L6 Optical Media Shredder

Regular high security shredders will only shred paper. OMDD models will also shred optical media. The high volume HSM P36 OMDD shredder is a Level 6/P-7 high security shredder. It is almost identical to the P36 Level 6 shredder, except that the P36 OMDD has a second slot insert that shred optical media like credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Shred up to 14 sheets of paper, turning each sheet into 12,065 tiny particles. Top secret and confidential information must be destroyed with a high security shredder. The P36 is perfect for larger offices, equipped to handle high volumes. The 38 gallon shred bag slides out for easy disposal. And like other HSM shredders, many features are automated. Paper jams are automatically reversed thanks to the AntiJam Technology. Shredding stops completely when the shred bag is full and the Energy Management Control System reduces power consumption after 2 minutes of idle activity. Unlike lower level shredders, the OMDD P36 has a automatic oiler that keeps the cutting cylinder well lubricated. The multifunctional control button has icons that will light up with corresponding status, such as door open, paper jam, and low oil. Even relocate the high security P36 with the built-in castors for safe shredding around the office. The P36 model has strip cut and cross cut variations, in addition to high security versions.
