Description of the HSM Securio P40 ⅛” Strip Cut Shredder
HSM’s Securio P40 strip cut shredder is an ideal addition to any large office with low security, high quantity shredding needs. The ⅛” strips are skinnier than ¼” strip cuts, but still should not be used for sensitive information. An advantage of strip cut shredding is high sheet capacity compared to cross cut shredding. Shred up to 39 sheets per pass, no need to remove staples and paper clips because the cutting cylinder can handle it. There’s another feed slot for credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks that will also keep paper and plastic waste separate. Users can even move the P40 around on its castors to cater to shredding needs all around the office. When it comes time to dispose of shred waste, simply open up the cabinet door to reveal the easy slide-out frame and remove the shred bag. The P40 SC is intelligent too. The multifunctional control button has backlit icons indicating things such as door open, shred bag full, paper jam, and more to alert users to shredder status. This way, users are able to respond to and maintain shredder performance. Even shred continuously without having to worry about the motor. Simply keep feeding the P40 and it will continue to shred.
