The largest of the Securio Auto Feed shredders, the HSM AF 500 cross cut shredder can hold a stack of 500 sheets of paper. The lock-and-go function allows users to lock sensitive documents in the paper feeder so no one else has access. Nanogrip technology delivers effective sheet intake for fast shredding. So instead of manually feeding the shredder, you can simply walk away with peace of mind and save time spent otherwise shredding. If you choose to, manual shredding is still an option, even while auto feed is happening (only one sheet at a time when using the dual function). The powerful motor maintains continuous operation and engages low power consumption when not in use to save energy. If shredding the Autofeed 500 wasn’t already easy enough, detects paper jams for you and the automatic return function eliminates the jam. Users can choose to manually feed, auto feed, or both at the same time. The dual function enables users to insert single sheets into the shredder while auto feeding is occurring. Open up the cabinet to the waste bin to collect the shred collection bag filled with shred particles. Simply remove the bag for easy disposal. There is even a spot for a CD bag to catch media particles in order to keep shred waste materials separate. Even with all these powerful features, the HSM 500C keeps shred noise to a minimum with quiet operation.
