Description of the HSM Securio P44 Cross Cut Shredder
From HSM’s Securio line, the P44 is the largest model. The cross cut P44 has a security Level 3/P-4, creating 517 particles per sheet. The P44 CC can be an ideal addition to any large office with high volume shred loads. Shred up to 46 sheets per pass, even with staples and paper clips. There is a second feed slot that shreds credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks, directing plastic residue to a second container separate from the shred bag that collects paper particles. When the shred bag or container is full, shredding will stop and the appropriate icon will light up to alert users. Slide out the shred bag or detach the plastic container from the inside of the cabinet door and dispose the shred waste. Other backlit icons located around the multifunctional control button display other operational statuses such as open cabinet door and paper jam. In the event of a paper jam, Anti Jam Technology will automatically reverse the jam to ensure smooth operation. The powerful motor can handle continuous duty operation and will also reduce power consumption during standby mode to save energy. Whisper Technology and a closed gear system will keep shredding quiet in the office. Although the P44 is a hefty larger shredder, users can still relocate it on its sturdy built-in castors to meet the demands of multiple users and departments, increasing data protection. The P44 is also available as strip cut, cross cut, and high security versions.
