Description of the HSM Securio C18 Cross Cut Shredder
The HSM C18 cross cut shredder is a Level 3/P-4 office shredder designed for low volume jobs. Thanks to the convenient size, users can keep the C18 CC deskside for immediate shredding. A cross cut shred is a safer cut type than strip cut while also reducing paper bulk. Shred up to 11 sheets per pass in addition to staples, paper clips, and credit cards. Shredding automatically start/stop when paper is fed. Otherwise, during idle operation, Zero Energy Standby Mode reduces power consumption and the C18 will reactivate when paper is inserted. The control will indicate to users bin full, bin open, and paper jam. In event of a paper jam/overload, users can manually reverse, but AntiJam Technology will automatically switch the C18 into reverse mode until the paper is out. The inspection window makes it easy to monitor shred waste for timely disposal. But even if you do not monitor shred levels, the C18 automatically halts all shredding when the 6.6 gallon bin is full. The C18 is both compact and easy to use, making it an ideal low volume shredder for home or personal offices. The C18 shredder is also available as Level 4 cross cut and strip cut models.
