Description of the HSM Securio C18 L4 Cross Cut Shredder

The C18 Level 4 cross cut shredder is qualified to shred sensitive information from the convenience of a home or personal office. Small enough to be kept deskside, the L4 C18 shredder shreds up to 8-9 sheets per pass and has a 6.6 gallon waste bin. In case of a paper jam/overload, AntiJam technology will detect and then automatically reverse to eliminate the problem paper. And even though it is a higher level shredder, the C18 Level 4/P-5 can shred paper clips, staples, and credit cards, thanks to the hardened steel cutting cylinder. Shredding occurs automatically with paper feeding, as does the AntiJam function, which automatically reverses when a paper jam occurs. The 6.6 gallon waste bin pulls out for easy disposal. When the waste bin is completely full, the C18 will stop shredding until it isn’t. When idle, the C18 will enter standby mode, during which power consumption is significantly reduced to save energy. Reactivate the shredder by simply inserting shred material. The HSM C18 can be a convenient addition to any home/personal office. Keep it deskside for fast, low volume shredding.
