Description of the HSM 411.2 High Security L6 Cross Cut Shredder
High security and high volume are not often paired together, but the HSM 411.2 shredder is the largest in the HSM Classic series and boasts a security Level 6/P-7. The 411.2 Level 6 high security shredder is TAA compliant and NSA-EPL listed, which are requirements for government agencies. After the 411.2 L6 is turned on, photo-cell sensors detect paper when inserted, automatically start shredding, and then stop once shredding is complete. The continuous duty motor enables continuous shredding without having to stop and cool down. The motor is encased in a protective housing that reduces shred dust and noise. The waste bin is 38.5 gallons. When the shredder bag is completely full, the 411.2 will detect and halt shredding until the waste is gone and cabinet door is closed. Even use the flat top surface as a storage space for soon-to-be-shredded paper.The on/off switch has a reverse function as well for any pesky paper jams. Additionally, the Anti-Jam Technology will detect overloaded paper and automatically to prevent any shredder damage. Standing at 38” tall, the high security 411.2 can shred paper loads from multiple users. Although the 411.2 weighs 181 lbs, it can be easily moved around on its heavy duty castors to maximize shred protection. Solid steel cutting rollers are designed to last and shred paper into 12,065 particles per sheet. Most high security shredders take few sheets at a time due to particle size, the high security 411.2 takes an incredible 16 sheets per pass. High volumes of sensitive documents should not be compromised by a low volume shredder. The Level 6/P-7 411.2 shredder is incredibly powerful without compromising security. The 411.2 is also available with lower security levels and a strip cut version. There is an OMDD Level 6 version as well.
