Description of the HSM Powerline FA500.3 L4 Cross Cut Shredder
The HSM FA500.3 L4 shredder offers a security Level 4/P-5 shred while taking on large quantities of shred materials. Ideal for large volumes and as a central shredding post, the Powerline 500.3 shredder offers both powerful shredding and security. Particles (1/16" x 9/16") are collected in a 140 gallon waste bin. The waste bin houses a reusable shred bag mounted on a moveable trolley for easy disposal. Shredding is even easier and controls are simple. Once the FA 500.3 is turned on, users can place shred materials onto the wide conveyor belt and it will feed items into the cutting chamber. Since it is an industrial shredder, it can destroy up to 130 sheets of paper in addition to paper clips, staples, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks, and USB sticks.Much like other HSM shredders, the 500.3 has hardened solid steel rollers for secure shredding. JamStop Anti Jam Technology will detect paper jams and overloads as they happen and automatically run in reverse until the paper is released. Continuous duty operation will keep the shredder going as long as users continue to feed it. And if automatic paper jam prevention wasn’t enough for easy shredder maintenance, the integrated auto oiler keeps the shredder head well lubricated for smooth performance so you don’t have to. Simply refill the oil supply when needed and the FA 500.3 will do the work for you. This industrial shredder balances security and bulk shredding without sacrificing any high quality features. The FA500.3 Level 4 shredder is available with a lower security level as well.
