Description of the HSM Securio P36 ¼” Strip Cut Shredder
The HSM P36 strip cut shredder is a large office shredder, capable of shredding up to 49 sheets per pass. Every sheet of paper is turned into ¼” strips that satisfy requirements for Level 2/P-2 shredding. In addition to paper, this powerful shredder can also destroy staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CDs/DVDs. Cards and discs are inserted through a second media slot, separate from the paper slot so plastic shred waste is separated from paper. Paper particles fall into the 38 gallon waste bin below, where a shred bag will collect strips and slide out for easy disposal. Continuous duty operation means constant shredding without having to stop. In between uses, standby mode reduces power consumption by 90% for energy efficiency. And even though the P36 is a high volume shredder, Whisper Technology maintains quiet operation. Using the P36 is simple with the multifunctional controls. Lights and icons indicate status so users can respond appropriately. A light will flash to signal an open bin door and users can close the door to continue shredding. Easily relocate the low security P36 SC on its castors to other departments and offices for fast, high volume shredding. The P36 model has strip cut and cross cut variations, in addition to high security versions.
