Description of the HSM Securio P44 ¼” Strip Cut Shredder
The P44 is the largest model in HSM’s Securio series. The extra wide 16” paper opening can handle an incredible 78 sheets per pass and you don’t have to remove staples or paper clips. The second media slot shreds credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks while keeping plastic residue separate from paper particles. ¼” strip cut particles collect in the 55 gallon waste bin, equipped with a shred bag for easy disposal, and plastic residue collects in a small container inside of the cabinet door. And when either container is full, the P44 will alert you. The multifunctional control button has many backlit icons that indicate operational status. If the cabinet is open or there’s a paper jam, the corresponding icon lights up. This powerhouse strip cut shredder can withstand continuous shredding, destroying high volumes of materials without stopping. The P44 may eventually see an overload, leading to a paper jam. AntiJam Technology will detect and reverse it for you to prevent shredder damage. Even relocate the P44 to other offices and departments via castors. Simply wheel the shredder around wherever it’s needed. When the P44 isn’t shredding, it will enter standby mode until reactivated. During standby mode, Energy Management Control System will reduce power consumption by 90% to save energy. And Whisper Technology will keep operation quiet for fewer office distractions. The P44 is also available as strip cut, cross cut, and high security versions.
