Description of the HSM Securio P44 ⅛” Strip Cut Shredder

The ⅛” P44 strip cut shredder is an ideal high volume shredder for offices with low security needs. This strip cut Securio shredder shreds up to 63 sheets per pass, including staples and paper clips. A second feed slot is specially designed to take credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks. Shred particles are collected separately, paper in the shred bag and plastic in the plastic container. The shred bag will fill up fast with strip cut particles. Users can look through the inspection window or wait to be alerted with the icon to see that the shred bag is full. The shred bag is easily removed from the slide-out frame, and the plastic container detaches from inside the cabinet door. The shredder itself is mobile via built-in castors that make it easy to relocate and meet shredding needs. Other icons around the multifunctional control button light up accordingly with operation status. The backlit icons will alert you if the cabinet door is open, if there is a paper jam, and more. Paper jams are also automatically reversed with AntiJam Technology. Whisper Technology is another automated feature that maintains quiet operation so the office isn’t disrupted by loud shred noise. During standby mode, the Energy Management Control System reduces power consumption and starts back up again when shred material is fed through. The P44 is also available as strip cut, cross cut, and high security versions.
