Description of the HSM Shredstar X17 Cross Cut Shredder
The HSM Shredstar X17 brings powerful shredding capabilities to a quiet, compact, personal sized shredder. The X17 can take up to 17 sheets at once. With a shred size of 5/32" x 1-7/16" it meets level 3/P-4 security requirements. But the X17 handles more than just paper, it has a separate CD/DVD slot with its own cutting unit and waste container. This easy to use shredder has automatic start/stop operation and an LED indicator that shows the machine's status at a glance. The X17 automatically detects and shuts down when the waste container is full. The 6.9 gallon waste bin can be easily removed for emptying. The X17 is also equipped with Anti-Jam technology which automatically reverses out paper if the machine has been overloaded.
