Description of the HSM Pure 740 Strip Cut Shredder

The HSM 740 strip cut shredder shreds up to 42 sheets per pass at 17 feet per minute, perfect for large workshops and offices. Made in Germany, the 740 boasts high quality materials and features for optimal security and durability. It can be used among 6 to 11 people without compromising performance. A large scale mobile shredder, the 740 SC is designed to handle shred loads from 6 to 11 users. Easily move the shredder around the office via castors for convenient shredding and disposal. Shred particles are sorted into a separate collection bag (use a 58 gallon shred bag) for easy cleanup and disposal. To empty the 740, simply open up the wooden cabinet door and remove the bag. Cutting rollers are made with hardened steel for a long lasting shredding performance. The power motor enables continuous operation while standby mode keeps energy consumption low when not in use. When it comes time to shred, the light barrier detects and automatically starts/stops shredding. Even though the 740 is one of the largest Pure models with a high cutting capacity, quiet operation keeps noise levels low for the workplace. If pressure is applied to the safety element, the 740 will automatically switch off to try and prevent possible damage. Overload protection will detect and reduce paper jams to avoid damage.

(Optional automatic external oiler available) Smaller HSM Pure models come in different sizes for different office needs. The Pure 740 is also available in a cross cut version.
